      Learning Experience
Psy 103 - I dislike going to crowded places, especially to parties. I tend to lose my confidence and feel uncomfortable when I go to parties. This dislike for parties has developed in me because a childhood experience. When I was a seven-year-old, I went with my mother to attend a birthday party of a friend. There was a small competition for all the children arranged in the party in which children had to display their talents. All the kids had been informed prior of this competition so that they can prepare something. I had learned a poem for this purpose. In the party when I went to speak, all eyes were on me and I forgot the lines. I just managed to speak one line and it was followed by long silence accompanied with jeers of children mocking at me. This incident made me develop a hostile feeling toward parties. Through this experience I developed a hostile attitude towards parties and crowded places. I learned to dislike parties and crowded places.
      Classical Conditioning
Res110 - This learning experience can be explained through classical conditioning. According to the classical conditioning when a neutral stimulus is combined with an unconditioned stimulus, it becomes conditioned stimulus that brings up a conditioned response. An unconditioned stimulus is one that unconditionally results in a response. An unconditioned response is a response which occurs automatically when a conditioned stimulus is triggered. A conditioned response is referred as a learned response, which occurs when a former neutral stimulus is triggered. Res 110
